Conference Summary

The International Conference on Chemical Engineering & Industrial Biotechnology 2018 (ICCEIB2018) was organized by the Faculty of Chemical and Natural Resources Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Pahang in collaboration with Energy Institute Malaysia, Centre of Excellence for Advanced Research in Fluid Flow (CARIFF) and Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM). In a significant milestone, this conference was also receiving strong support from the International Association of Hydrogen Energy (IAHE) and International Journal of Hydrogen Energy. The theme for ICCEIB 2018 is “Sustainable Technological Solutions for Industry and Society”. This conference is designed to disseminate the latest research findings and advances in the chemical engineering and industrial biotechnology area to society. Specifically, focusing on demand, supplies, storage, and transportation issues in food, energy, and water nexus. These areas have become high concerns to the private sector, researchers, academics, industrialists and policy makers. This conference attracted more than 220 participants from Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, United Kingdom, Australia, Russia, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, India, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia and Sudan.
